Uh... really? It is on *my* machine because I have a whole bunch of
svn-style aliases set up. Where did *you* get these from? They don't
appear to be part of "stock git", at least not with
git-2.5.0-4.fc23.x86_64...

This (modulo all the command aliases you're throwing around) has IIRC
worked for quite some time, actually. (Like... since git 1.6 or so.)
