Terminals in Linux always felt better integrated, more responsive,
more customizable, etc. to me and I think that's because the Terminal
is a very high priority on a Linux box. There's not much difference
between using GVim and Vim from the Terminal in Linux. I think that my
favorite is Konsole, although being a lifetime Mac user, I gravitate
to the simpler, cleaner interfaces of Gnome and Xfce.
