I built the Linux version of sim city recently (micropolis). The only
snag was I had to install a bsd version of something related to the
cpreprocessor. otherwise it works, but on my powerbookg3 (kanga)
it has color problems and is too big for the screen. I will try it
later on a desktop when I get a chance.

I don't recall if basilisk allows to set 16colors, but the same book
does not ordinarily support that -- won't play sim city in os9, at
least
the version I have. I like the classic simcity (rather obsessed with
it at times actually) and I have hopes to look at the source codes for
ideas and hacks although c has never thrilled me...

What is Future Cities ? I just wanted to hack the scenarios basicly --
make up some of my own maps and situations.
