With an LC, you need to learn a few chants, preferably Swahili, but Xhosa will suffice.
Use these when making new connections that might blow up the house, or fry your wife;s favorite electrical machine. They are preventive but people tend not to interrupt you when you are chanting them. All people tend to be much less critical of your failures as well after they have heard you chanting these at midnight. Dwight Good Swahili chants (pronunciation is like the words are spelled) Dua la kuku halimpati mwewe and Dunia duara and my favorite Haba na haba, hujaza kibaba Pick one of these and chant it over and over until semantic satiation occurs, then keep chanting until your work is done. Translations are available on the web, and in the secret LC sites.
