Select the first item in the Apple Menu. IIRC there has always been some form of "About this Mac" function there and it should report the memory and OS version. > > Is the ImageWriter suitable for this computer? The best printer for it would probably be an early HP DeskWriter if you could find one. The DW is (IIRC) 300 DPI inkjet while the IW is 72 DIP impact. > > I'm aware that this computer has the ability to be expanded to 4MB RAM. > Is this worth it? Is it necessary for the purposes I intend to use it for? A lot of things work okay with 1Mb, it depends on the specifics. There was MS Basic, maybe some others. I gave up on basic a long time ago. If you are interested in "C" or Pascal programming there is LightSpeed C and LightSpeed Pascal which I believe run on a Plus. And I have seen old copies of LightSpeed C advertised from time to time. > > My final question: what is the best way to obtain such software, > drivers, or whatever is needed? Being persistent about digging around the Internet including e-Bay is your best bet. I've heard of some web sites specializing in old software but don't have any links to them. > > If someone does not have the time to answer my questions, redirecting me > to an appropriate website would do nicely.
