I found an easy way to do it from here: http://www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum/archive/index.php/t-2447.html
Ever see those "all-in-one" screwdrivers, with different tip attachments, which includes striaght-edge, philips, hex, etc. of various sizes? I simply took one of those hex screwdriver attachments and took a Dremel to grind out a notch in the base of the attachment (it doesn't ruin the attachment, it still can be reused for the original tool). A long standard screwdriver is much easier to obtain and I had one on hand so I simply put the screwdriver's tip into the notch of the hex attachment and put some tape around it (it still was thin enough to fit through the hole). It is stronger than you might expect, and it worked perfectly for unscrewing and screwing those hex screws on the Plus. typing in what you need in the URL bar in firefox seems to find the best match =) On Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 7:16 AM, Scott Holder <[email protected]> wrote: > > Derek Morton wrote: >> The 6100 drive should work fine (50 pin SCSI) & supported systems are >> 6.0.7 to 7.5.5 >> per - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP198 >> >> Derek > > Just for the sake of completeness, I've run all the way back to the > System 1.1g and 0.97 disks that have been floating around for awhile > just fine on a Classic.
