The Torx is probably too short. What I did today was to buy about a 14 inch long tool with a screw in the end. I took my no. 15 Torx and pounded the handle off leaving a six inch piece. I then filed off the two tangs that held it into the plastic handle an Voila, it fit perfectly into the end with screws on. I tightened the screws and I had a Torx screwdriver about 20 inches long and the screws came out with no problems. The tool I bought at home Hardware cost me $9.99...
