LC575 motherboards appear to quite common, if a person looks hard enough. I
also recommend going to thrift stores, as retro Macs always seem to sadly
end up at these places and the Macs need a home.

Double-checking, I was mistaken, and I have the LC575 motherboard installed
with Mac OS 7.6.1 (how, I don't know, I don't remember). I also upgraded the
internal hard disk to a 2 GB SCSI. My Color Classic is mostly used, via
iCab, to download and then play TWiT MP3s.
