Hello all, I'm a long time Mac enthusiast, but new to the group and
to the DIY fixing that a lot of vintage Macs require.

I've aquired a Color Classic running System 7.5.5, but with a built-in
floppy drive that's not working. I'd like to get it running, but have
been moving data to the machine via Zip Drive in the meantime.

Basically, I put a floppy in and it just stays there stuck until I use
a paper clip to pop it back out. The auto insert pulls it in, but I
don't hear any spinning and no disk appears on the desktop - nor any
other response from the computer that a disk has been inserted.

Any ideas (suggestions, links) of where to start to get this working
again? Thanks!

Greg R.
