It looks like my pile of equipment has completely bombed out :(

I can't power up the portable, while I've tried two other floppy
drives in the classic.

Is there anyone on this list in the Las Vegas area who could help me
read a few old floppies? I can offer pieces of all of a Performa 475,
a larger machine (I don't really remember whether it's a 68k or
powermac, to tell the truth), or a MacPortable. also a 640x480
"Hi-res" monitor (doesn't talk to eitehr of the machines with the
cable I have. The green light comes on, and the fuse isn't blown (I
checked a couple of days ago. The cable is blue with ends labled
"mac" and "vga"; I don't know whether it came with this monitor).

To let anyone have the hard drive from the MacPortable, which
presumably works, I would have to be able to wipe it first (it has old
confidential client data on it, as well as stacks I need).

I'd rather see these pieces sent somewhere where they'd be used than a landfill.
