"Never had a problem with any check or money order sent by someone on
LEM Swap tho.

In six years I have never been stiffed doing business on the LEM Swap list
although once it took about six months to reconcile a non delivery by a seller
with a payment back to me. In that instance the seller wrote that he had
financial troubles and I had become (unasked) his inadvertent banker for six
months.

USPS Money Orders can be cashed at your local post office.  Most
others have to be deposited into your checking account, and go thru
an extended clearing cycle.

Last year, I received one rubber personal check and two bogus money
orders (non USPS) from customers.  That's a big reduction from
previous years.

Never had a problem with any check or money order sent by someone on
LEM Swap tho.
