3M makes a variety of adhesive teflon tapes which can be (if you're
really good at cutting) cut into mouse feet/slides.

There is also a company or two which sell(s) mouse sliders/gliders
which are basically small segments of 3M teflon tape from a roll.
The thing is, that teflon tape is expensive if you buy an entire
roll.

If your mouse has one of the curving (crescent) shaped teflon
surfaces, try to get the 1" wide tape. The 1/2" wide isn't quite wide
enough to make a good replacement slide.

There are a few informative threads over on ars technica on the
topic. I think I ran across them by searching for the word "adhesive"
or maybe "tape" when I was searching for a fix for my scanner's
falling glass.
