Don't worry everyone, I'm NOT going to plug it into a SCSI port... Thanks for 
all the warnings! I'll just have to find the right serial cable. 
I read on Wikipedia that there's a way to perform a self-test, but I couldn't 
get it to work... What exactly does that do, and how do you make it do that?
