I have been using - for years - a Mac-II case with nothing in it but the power supply and a bunch of SCSI disks. I start up the power supply with four series connected 1.5 volt alkaline cells and a momentary contact switch that applies voltage to the startup inn 15 of the connector that once went to a motherboard. My SE/30 file server sits on top and its power connector is connected to the switched 120 VAC outlet on the Mac-II supply. When power fails - here in lightning heaven - it only comes back up when I say so. -- --> From the U S of A, the only socialist country that refuses to admit it. <-- -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
