If you're using Ethernet that ought to work in theory, as my bondi
blue iMac g3 seems to only network with my PC when my network card is
set a 10mbps half duplex. This suggests that's all it will support or
at least that it only worked because I fiddled with it enough. If your
iMac has anything better than that, like 10/100, you probably can't
connect it to the Performa without a dumb 10Mbps hub in the middle. If
you can find a mac serial/printer cable, you can probably use
LocalTalk to connect the Performa to the SE, so you don't have to do
so much floppy transfer. Do you have a cd burner for your imac? If so,
you could probably burn cds in a format the Performa can read and that
would be an easier way to move stuff.
