Sounds good. I believe the cabling is LocalTalk and the protocol is AppleTalk or something like that. If you can find a cable for it and get ethernet working on the Performa 575 then you should be able to download the Localtalk Bridge software from here http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html#netcom and use that to share the internet over LocalTalk with the SE. I think the SE can take an ethernet card too, but I don't which one it is and if this works no point in worrying about it I guess.
