I do have the IIsi adaptor for the 030, which I take it will work with the 040. According to the people in the apple2 forum, using an older mac like I suggested is how some of them do it. I don't have the specifics of it currently, but it works, so I figured i'd concentrate on building the machine to do it on. I wanted to make it headless, but was told none of the models of mac I have will run that way. Someone said they use their SE (maybe SE30) for that, so I figured that should take the least amount of room. Guess now all I have to do is take the SE apart and make sure I can get the SE30 mb in the case. thanks again for the info, and I'll let you know how it goes, but it might be a week or so.
