I have a bunch of various mac stuff, older macs.

What I'm looking to do is hook up my Apple IIgs, to an older mac over
appletalk, which in turn will be connect to a local network.

While I have some seperate macs & monitors (LCII, IIsi, etc), I'd
rather have an all in one solution, since it's main function is going
to just be a network merger (or whatever you want to call it).

So I have an SE, Classic, and Plus. I went through my extra MB's,
accels and what not and found that I have a few extra classic mb's,
seem to have a Classic II mb, extra SE mbs, some with video cards for
them, but one nice one that has a network card thingy in it.

But I found that I have an SE30 mb, a few MacCon for IIsi SE30, and I
have 2 Daystar Accels that fit into the slot on the mb.

a turbo 040 and one a powercache IIci.

which brings me to the main question.

Can I use either one of those 2 accels on my SE30?

And would I have problems putting the SE30 mb into a SE case?

All I really need is just an old mac that can basicly be a ftp server
& network converter. I'm sure the SE would probably do that fine on
it's own. But dang, I like to tinker, and it looks like i'm going to
have to open the case anyways to put the network card thingy in.

Since I don't appear to have an accel for the SE or Classic, and I
listed what I wanted to do, should I just stick with a stock SE (well,
plus network card), or would a faster computer be better?

anyways, thanks for your time
