Thanks John,

I installed MacDrive 7 on the XP machine and an Adaptec SCSI adapter.

When the drive is plugged into the scsi adapter windows gets stuck on
the bootup screen.

I tried booting in safe mode and it does boot there, and device
manager shows the drive so I know a lot is working, but MacDrive does
not see it.
