Tyrone, Christian and Gregg- Thanks so much for your responses. You gave me a lot of info that I have to digest and consider. Some of what you wrote was over my head technically, so when I have a minute, I'll be asking some questions, if you don't mind.
One question I have right now is how can I copy files to a PC-DOS floppy? If I insert anything but a mac-formatted floppy into the Quadra, I'll get a message something like "this disk is unreadable, do you want to initialize it?" Again, thanks for your suggestions.
