Someone gave me an iMac G5. It is in very good condition but it has trouble booting up. When I hit the power button, it chimes, the large grey apple icon appears, and the small pinwheel is spinning but that is as far as it goes as it does not boot up to the desktop. I put in a Mac OS Tiger operating install disk thinking it would switch to that instead but no luck. Any ideas?
