If you turn the machine upside down, you'll see that the rails that
hold the logic board in are not that wide.  A little gentle prying
with a screwdriver will allow you to pull the board out of the rail on
one side.  Then you can slide it out of the other side.  If there's
enough slack in the cable, this will allow you to pull the logic board
down below the frame and give you better access to the connector.

The problem is that I don't think there's that much slack.  You may
need to disconnect the cable up at the analog board end, but it you
do, be very careful not to break the neck of the CRT.
