That was the first thing I tried. It is quite impressively stuck.

Incidentally, if you have a dead Zip drive, there is a metal rod in it that
makes a great pokey stick for emergency ejects.

I hope I can get this sorted. The Plus was the first GUI computer in the
house, but got misplaced for years. It deserves better.
