Classilla is PPC-only, so it'll only be good if your Performa is one of
the later PPC versions. It still might be too slow for most Performas.
If it's a 68k Perfoma, I found browsing to be best with a combination of
the last 68k version of iCab and good ol' Netscape 4, both set with
Javascript and stylesheets disabled. iCab is a nicer interface (tabs!)
and probably a little more compatible, but Netscape 4 ran a lot better.
Worth a shot anyway!

Great, thanks for all the replies. I'll see if i can get classzilla
for the computer and set it up to direct to mobile sites (not that
i'll really be using the computer very frequently anyway) ... it is
mostly to have an OS 8 machine to tinker with and make floppies,
also... I just figured i'd get it going so its actually usable.

I think there's a way to disable javascript or something, but I'm
using Netscape (3.1, I think) and anytime I try to access a page
it'll give me a few errors and the whole system locks up solid...
(no curser, nothing)
Any ideas? Thanks.
