As I recall, files with the extension .hqx or .sit are constructed to
combine the resource forks and data forks so the file isn't corrupted.
I think that there are/were several utilities that could construct
these types of files. I would have to hunt through a rather large and
dusty pile of "archives" to be sure and to find specific applications.
