The deal there is the bus speed of the 6100/66 is
faster than the 25Mhz of a IIci with a 601 upgrade.

It's like putting a big, turbocharged engine in a
car with a broken transmission that only works in
first gear. The 6100 and other NuBus PowerMacs have
a "transmission" (the bus) that's always in top
gear. A much better match between the cpu speed and
the rest of the system.
