In Teri's case, maybe. 
In mine, not, because my Mac has never seen any OT software. But I think
you're pretty close, because the thing with the invisible MacTCP occured
after an upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5.5 (sorry, need it :), at a point where the
Mac actually asked for the installation of OT. I don't know if OT belonged
to 7.5.5, but if so, I deleted that.
