You'll have to run System 7.5.5 or older then switch the Memory control panel to 24 bit mode then reboot before you can turn on the //e card. If you then want to do anything on the Mac side that requires more than 8 megs RAM you'll have to shut down the //e, switch Memory back to 32bit and reboot. Too bad Apple didn't make the //e card work with 32bit memory addressing, but it was aimed at schools to get them to dump their old apple ][ series boxes for shiny new LC and LCII pizza boxes. 4 megs of RAM out of the box looks like a whole lot moving from an apple ][ with 64K or 128K, then you load the System and some apps... ;) ===== "If all the young people in America were to act as you intend to act, the country would be defenseless and easily delivered into slavery."
