Hi VaShaun,

Being able to print the labels as we need them and the size we want for
the cost of the label is a big advantage. However, it is true that doing this
the first time alone as a blind user is difficult. The nice thing is once it
is set up and you find the labels you like, you are good to go.

Some things I learned as a new user that have been helpful are:

Use Avery labels, others might work but it is another variable I'd rather not
introduce.

Use labels that start with a 6 like 6570. This way if you are having trouble
with your printer you can use another one say a friend or at work. By starting
with the number 6 it will not matter if you use a Laser or Ink jet.

As a new user it was easier to start with a label that is as close to square as
possible. this es easier to line up the camera. The 6570 are great for this.

If you do use the long narrow labels consider having a sited person use a paper
cutter and cut them into strips with the extra white part cut
away. Not only was this easier for me to scan but they fit nicely on smaller
objects such as tops of medicine bottles.

This app is working very nicely right now, and from comments from Nancy on this
list, it is clear it will not only be well supported but continue to develop.
I do enjoy reading how others are using this app and I learn from both your
successes and difficulties.
