Pretty much everywhere. From swiping in a particular app or on one of the
homepages going from app to app or just tracing a finger around the screen.
It might not happen for a long time and it'll happen a couple of times
within a five minute span. There's really no rime or reason to it. I know
it's not something exclusive to my device as it'll occur on my iPad as well
and others have commented on this same exact behavior on this list. It's
been present in iOS 5.0.1 and the subsequent updates since then. I can't
speak to earlier versions as my first phone was the 4S running the 5.0.1 OS.

Danielle,

WHen swiping through something, is that something within a specific app? I
am using a 4S and I am not encountering this issue. There could be an app
causing the problem as well. Interesting issue.

For example, have you found this issue occurs when using a certain app? Have
you tried (yes I know it's painful) reinstalling from scratch? Sometimes
something does become corrupted or some software conflict has occurred that
only seems to be resolved when starting from a complete restore back to
"factory" settings.
