Wow, yeah, I've never encountered that either. You also have to keep in
mind, the processor could be lagging, and is unable to process the
instructions it's given, so that could also attribute to the lag.

This is not an issue I have encountered. Have you determined a pattern? For
example, have you found this issue occurs when using a certain app? Have you
tried (yes I know it's painful) reinstalling from scratch? Sometimes
something does become corrupted or some software conflict has occurred that
only seems to be resolved when starting from a complete restore back to
"factory" settings.
