AS long as we're comparing the mail and Gmail apps, is it possible to apply multiple labels to a message in both apps? I mainly use Gmail on a Windows computer and in a web browser. Most of my mail is setup to have filters applied when new messages come in that fit certain criteria, like from this list. However, occasionally I may want to apply more than one label to a message. I don't think this can be done in the native mail app, since hwen you move a message from the inbox to a folder, you have applied a label to it. And it doesn't seem wise to keep moving it from folder to folder just to apply several labels. I've got a lot of messages in my Gmail system, mainly ones that are archived, so having multiple labels is a good thing for me to stay organized.
