Subject: Verbatum keyboard [was "Re: RII keyboard"]

Like I said, it's a folding keyboard. When folded it's about the size of a
small paperback book. When unfolded, it locks in place. It was meant to work
with IOS devices, so it has several dedicated keys on it, like a home key. You
can definitely touch type on it, although a few keys are in slightly different
positions. For example, the number keys 1 through
5 are shifted to the right a bit to make room for a few extra keys in the upper
left hand corner. The b key is a bit further away than normal since it's on the
other side of the fold.

Remember, I only recently got this keyboard, so I haven't put it through it's
paces yet. One of the reasons I got it, was I was able to purchase it locally,
so I could give it a try and return it if I didn't like it, but I don't plan on
returning it. I opted not to get a smaller keyboard that you could just thumb
type on because I feel I'm proficient enough with the virtual keyboard, and if
I was going to get a portable bluetooth keyboard, I wanted to be able to touch
type on it.

There have been several messages on this and other keyboards on the list
recently. I'd suggest checking out the archive and the applevis.com site.
