as for notes and bookmarks with the new verssion. I've not tried that yet.
as for email notifications maybe you cold alter that from withinthe ap on
your profile or maybe through the website through your profile again logging
in. I myself have few email notifications from uverssion well, not true I
have a few but, maybe next time I'll look at the email before deleating it.
