Does anyone remember when a 250 gig hard drive was more than we figured that we would ever need? Now, what do you have in the way of an internal hard drive or external drives for backing up what is on the internal drive?

Unfortunately, iPhones are not expandable.

I agree that it is better to have and not need than need and not have.
However, I do not think that someone should feel compelled to run out
and get a 128 GB device just for the extra storage, especially if they
will never need it. That is a lot of space and will likely come at a
premium price. Currently I have around 4,000 songs, 120 apps, several
BARD books and other documents, and am using two thirds of the 64 GB
of space on my iPhone 6. I am completely happy with this since I've
got room to grow but not too much room. As has been stated before, it
depends on what you have to store. If you have hundreds of pictures,
lots of music and videos, and other media that takes up lots of space,
then by all means go for the 128 GB size. However, 64 GB should suit
most people. Since the 32 GB option is getting scarce, I would
recommend people consider the 64 GB size. If you truly don't have a
lot and don't see yourself getting a lot of apps and related media,
then 16 GB would work too. My wife is in this position, where she has
a growing collection of apps and pictures, but not a lot of other
media. She has a 16 GB iPhone 5C and is perfectly happy with it.

Best,
Wayne

Ditto. I have the 128 GB iPad Mini 2 because I may want to store all my
music for offline listening and not soly rely on music streaming
services. I felt the 16 GB option wasn't enough so went up to the max.
It was very much well worth the purchase.

I very strongly suggest to people when I'm asked about getting an iPhone
or iPad that they avoid buying the cheapest model they can get because
it's based on storage space. For example 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB etc. The
models with the largest storage space in the end are very much worth it or to put it even easier, it's better to have it and not need it then to need
it and not have it. This requires saving up. Few of us can just pull
money out of the rabits hat so that means you need to put money aside
every month until you have enough to buy that top of the line iPhone or
iPad.

You can look on blind bargins and you'll see plenty of bottom of the line
models. The problem is, nobody wants the ones with puny storage space.

Hi,

You cannot get more storage for your iPhone. You can buy more icloud
storage but that's an other story.Only option is to go to settings,
general, usage and check your storage there. I think it shows all types of
storage and might allow you to delete some data from there. In any case,
ow ever you do it, if you want more space you have to make some yourself
by deleting things off your iPhone.

Good luck,

Ioana
