Well, when I read "Do it right, and the screen reader will say it right. Doesn't anyone notice??" I thought that was a bit condescending and off putting to us list members. I never noticed it wasn't capitalized correctly, so that put me in the category of people that didn't notice. I also don't think it's an important distinction, so again, makes me feel like you think less of me when you word something like that. I'm offering this as constructive criticism myself in case you want to understand how your message was perceived by at least one list member. If you want to write me off as just being too sensitive and thin skinned, I'm OK with that.

Reminds me of the person who pointed out that the 's' in iPhone 5s isn't capitalized, since it would look too much like another 5. I thought that was an interesting bit of information and it was presented in an informative way which didn't put anyone down or make anyone feel bad.

Charles,
Please remember that there are a lot of us using screen readers that
are very hard of hearing like myself. We don't always hear everything
that our screen reader's announce those slight differences in sounds.
So please think about it next time you hear something that is not
spelled correctly that it might be someone with a severe hearing
impairment. Also remember there are people with dramatic brain injuries,
stroke victims, and a number of other disabilities that could keep them
from spelling correctly. Also there are some of us that with our being
severely hard of hearing all our lives that we could never hear the
correct spelling of words so our spelling is not very good due to not
being able to hear words correctly.

Charles, no one is going to be looking for a job with Apple based on
their writing skills on this list. So personally I think you are making
a bigger deal over something that is very trivial. I know very many
people who are very intelligent and who have professional jobs, who
write for a living even, and yet their email style of writing is
atrocious by grammar standards. I seriously doubt that you would be
turned down for a job with Apple if you wrote iTunes with a small T.
Seriously man, let's talk about more important things on the list.

Enunciation is sometimes important to make your meaning clear. Also
iTunes is correct, while itunes or other typos give the impression of
not knowing what you're talking about, even though it may not be the

Itunes, and I'll bet that I wouldn't be able to get employment with
the impression I give.

So you changed the subject line just to correct the capitalization of
iTunes? It took me a while to figure out that was the only change you
made. I guess my hearing isn't as sensitive as yours, since I didn't
notice it myself. I'm not sure we need to be this picky about the
spelling of our subject lines. I mean this wouldn't affect anyone's
ability to search for this information in the archives.

Yes, I did reboot the computer. Seems to be working fine except for
when I am in the Itunes store. Links won’t open to preview songs
   and the search doesn’t work.
