I took this to mean the button on the end of the swivel arm for the mic, and the small button above (or below, depending on the orientation of the ear cup). It worked for me; I may have done it after a power off then a power on before trying the buttons. Try it both ways.. I don’t believe I used the voice down rocker. See his message below.
Hope this helps. Hi had this very problem Turn off the unit. Press together the answer/vol down and voice command keys. Press for a few seconds. The unit should then work as normal. This key combination is a bit tricky but it works.
