I too am experiencing the Braille display hanging when trying to write
in Voice Dream Writer and in AccessNote. There are some apps that I
can write in with no problem, such as when writing an iMessage, but
anytime I try to write in most apps my Focus 14 Blue display shows the
for signs on either end and hangs. Hopefully the promises of fixes in
8.3 will take care of these annoyances. As it is, writing on the
Braille display is far from enjoyable. For the record, I have
automatic translation turned on and am using an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.2.

Best,
Wayne
