Both of those changes you would have liked would definitely make the touch more attractive. But, since it is the same case, maybe they couldn't put a bigger battery. Don't know about the speaker. But the speaker has always been a real downside to the touch in my opinion. I don't expect high fidelity, but something with a little bit more body to it would be nice. Mary
