Hi Carol: Another way to accomplish what you are trying to do is to have a different ICloud account for each phone. This way ITunes will see them as separate phones. You can then go into ITunes and choose the phone you want to use. You can tell it to download all your music with one check box. You can also choose which apps you want on which phone. I am running two IPhones and three IPads this way. Hope this helps.
