Hi john, You could probably go to the Web site on your computer and download the .brf files from BARD. Then, you could use Itunes to transfer them into voice Braille on your iPhone. The developer indicated you could use itunes to transfer files to their app, so if you did it that way, you could probably read the BARD braille books using Voice Braille.
I would not pay for it because I don't need the ability to read braille as audio. If I want to read a brf file, I would rather use my braille display, plus the biggest use I would have for doing so is my hymnals I have because they are all in .brf format and so if I were going to sing them, it would not be condusive to doing so while listening, so I would use my braille display; however, not everyone has one, and not everyone is as fluent a braille reader as I am, so this app is a great innovation for those who can't read them in braille or don't know braille well enough to do so. I am glad to hear you can open brf files in Access note. I know this has not always been the case. I will be investigating that very soon. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of John J Jacques Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2015 1:20 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: "Voice Braille Reader", New Leverage to Use Braille Files on iOS Hi all, I use Voice Dream Reader for all of my Audio book reading that isn't Bard, and love it! I have no problem paying for Voice Braille reader if it will play the .BRF files that I can get from BARD, but I suppose I will have to get it to know for sure. I wish the BARD app would allow Voice Over to read the braille files that you can download, but I have heard that they have no intention of adding that feature!
