I can't speak for anyone else, but I think I'm following you. I also had the problem mentioned in this thread. After your message below I did the following. I already had my default language set to U.S. English. I added U.S. english to the rotor. Now I have two items in the rotor for language -- Default language U.S. English and U.S. English. If I leave it on default then VO decides what language it needs to speak. However, if I switch from Default language U.S. English to U.S. English then only U.S. English is used. At least this is the way it is working so far. Sorta crazy, but there you go (Smile).
