Let's hope it will be so and of course then there still is the issue that 
whatever TV channels/service Apple is going to offer may not be available in 
Canada.

Try living in in Montreal  where I grew up. Most of the channels were in French 
so we really got less for our money. It works the same here in that to get what 
we want we need to subscribe to channels that we don't watch. I would love to 
just pay $40 for the channels I want. I am sure Apple will charge for the cable 
content. I am just hoping that it is less expensive.
