You can do voice searches and configure the app to respond to "OK google", of course the app has to be open and in the foreground for this to work. You can also activate the voice search button manually and if you ask something like "Who was the 23rd president of the United States", "What is the population of China" or whatever is supported, you will get spoken replies as you do with SIRI. For many questions about popular culture Google Search gives much better answers than SIRI and often where SIRI may say "I found this on the web about..." Google Voice will come up with a spoken answer. Of course it does not allow you to control your iPhone as in "Set my alarm for 6 am" or "Text John, I'll be there in 10 minutes" etc.
