I use Window-Eyes and am currently using 9.1 (not the most current version). There is no way of reviewing the screen with the current iTunes and in my limited attempts to actually use iTunes I've found not much success, though I can use it to access and move podcasts. When I called the Apple help line about iTunes in the past I've gotten 1 helpful person, 1 person who said "Call your screen access program tech support.", and several people who tried to be helpful and were to some extent. I am certainly not an iTunes advanced user, and neither am I any kind of power user, but when I have looked for help on using current iTunes versions, I've only found material referring to version 11.x. I hope this helps and I would be grateful for anyone advancing this discussion and my understand of this program's usage.
Thanks.

Subject: iTunes for windows and screen readers

I have never used iTunes for windows, because I have a Mac. However, if friend of mine was just told by an Apple accessibility senior representative that window eyes works with iTunes for windows and is the only screen reader which Apple says does that. I know that a few years ago, and it literally has been years, GW micro had been touting this fact. But I know a lot of changes have happened with both window eyes and iTunes since then I suspect that this is the case of apple not keeping their propaganda, I mean their publication, up-to-date. So for you who use Windows version of iTunes and screen readers two questions. One, Is it true, WE users, that iTunes works perfectly well with the latest version of window eyes? And two, what about other screen readers? Do any work well?
Mary
