Hello Brett I did a search for goggles in the app store. I get many results. The first is talking goggles from sparkling appss. Is this the app that you refer to? Regards Fanus

Hi Dani, Here are my thoughts, hopefully it helps you decide. Prismo and KNFB seem pretty similar in results, on some things KNFB is better and on others Prismo is. While Prismo is fully accessible it is more fiddly to use than KNFB, KNFB's interface is far simpler to use. Prismo is far cheaper, around 12 dollars, I think. KNFB is a bit faster to return a result. I would also ask yourself how often are you looking to scan and what types of things are you scanning. If its mainly food packaging etc, there are several free options or low cost options that may do the trick like Goggles, Be My Eyes and TapTapSee, to name a few. Goggles has a video mode so can scan things like a computer screen okay if for example your screen reader stops talking etc. Note none of the scanning options above will tell me the temprature on my heating controler. My opinion is try the free options above first and if these don't meet your needs, Then look at the paid scanning programs. if you want to scan occasional mail etc, Prismo is much cheaper, does about as good job as KNFB, but its interface isn't quite as officient as KNFB's. If you want good scanning and an easy to use and officient interface, then its worth the money for KNFB. Hope this helps some and doesn't confuse you more. :-) Cheers, Brett.
