Hello everyone,
Well I guess I should have tried this, before writing to the list. But I honestly didn't think this would make a difference. I restarted my phone, and the Outlook app works just as it should. I knew my password was correct. And, because I had tried more than once to fix the issue, I knew it wasn't me. At least now if this same thing happens, I know what to do. Thank you, Terri On 11/10/2016 10:18 PM, Sieghard Weitzel wrote: > Hi Terri, > > If you were able to sign in online then maybe you somehow type the password > incorrectly on your iPhone? > Also, did you get an email with the following subject: > Action Required: Re-connect Outlook 2016/2013 to Outlook.com after upgrade > The message that follows starts like this (I did not list all of the message, > if you haven't received it yet you don't have to worry about it anyways): > Earlier this year we introduced the new Outlook.com, which helps you focus on > what matters, collaborate effortlessly, and get more done. > As part of the Outlook.com upgrade, we have moved your account to a more > secure and reliable infrastructure. > Now that your Outlook.com account has been upgraded, you’ll need to > re-connect Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2013 to your Outlook.com account to ensure > the best experience. > If you do not re-connect to your upgraded Outlook.com account, you may > experience email or calendar sync issues, unintended recipients getting added > when replying to emails, or other issues listed here. > > Now, this only talks about reconnecting to Outlook.com from Outlook 2013 or > Outlook 2016, it does not mention the Outlook app for iPhone or Android. > However, to be on the safe side, I am also going to delete my Outlook account > on my iPhone and set it up again just to be sure it all works correctly.
