Hello Joe, Which iOS version are you using? Using iOS 10.1.1 on an iPhone6S, I seem to always be able to find an end call button on the screen. I would agree that the two finger double tap gesture to end a call does not seem to work reliably but I have attributed this more to user error in that my fingers may not be spread far apart rather than the gesture not working as it should. Sometimes, I have noticed that after I tell Siri to dial a number that the screen will lock. If this occurs, I find that simply pressing the home button will enable the screen for me again and I can then two finger double tap to end a call.
