Hi malcolm,

Yes, I think using a good and well-installed screen protector is a good thing.
It will prevent yoru screen from getting all those little scratches and dings
it can get and if you get one of the glass ones which are totally the ones I
recommend a screen protector can spread out the force of any impact if you ever
drop it.
I don’t like the plastic ones, they usually make the screen less slippery, some
people like this but I like to be able to slide my finger around easily.
I bought a glass screen protector at an Apple Store just over a year ago. The
girl at the Apple Store installed it for me and while at first it felt a bit
dull and less slippery, a couple of days of use fixed that and now you can’t
even tell the difference, it’s still perfectly applied and I really like it.

Subject: Screen protectors are they worth it?

Hello,

I have never used a screen protector with any of my iPhones but my friends all
use them. They are not VoiceOver users so I was wondering whether there would
be any point in getting one for my iPhone7. What impact do they have on the
usability of the iPhone from a VoiceOver perspective?

Any observations and recommendations welcome.

Malcolm
