Having a screen protector is totally a personal preference and whether you
think it is worth it or not. I have always been very careful with all of my
iPhones I have had and treated them like they were made of gold, but the fact
is, no matter how careful I am, there is always a chance of an unexpected
accident happening. I mean, that is what an accident is. Something that
unexpectedly happens that we do not plan on. So it just depends on whether or
not you want some extra protection in case that unexpected accident does happen.
I personally put all of my phones in an OtterBox cummunitor case. Since these
cases do not have the screen protector built in like the OtterBox Defender, I
do put a screen protector on all of my phones. As we all know, purchasing an
iPhone is not cheap, and is something like an investment, so anything I can do
to help protect my investment, that is what I do.
